- tap “I have my own domain”
- enter - without the @!
⚠️ typing @ will fail - no @ sign, just the domain - switch the tab to “No DNS Panel”
⚠️ the “DNS Panel” tab is selected by default - you must switch it - hit Verify Text File
- tap Update to… - done! 🐶
“Failed to verify”? check these
👉 the @ sign - the domain field must contain exactly, with no @ in front. this is the #1 cause.
👉 the wrong tab - make sure “No DNS Panel” is highlighted, not “DNS Panel”.
👉 typos - the name must match what you claimed here, letter for letter.
👉 still stuck? wait a minute and try again - then poke @kazzypoof.knot.gay if it won't budge.
want to change or move your handle later?
just come back and claim a different name with the same Bluesky account - your old one is released automatically. your old handle keeps working on Bluesky until you update it in settings.
